How are rents paid?

Rent including the security charge, external service charge, water and environmental services are paid monthly in advance. A rental bond is paid when the agreement is signed. Building Insurance is paid annually in advance.

Who organises the supply of Gas and Electricity?

The landlord is responsible for the control of gas and electricity supplies which are distributed throughout the site and metered to each unit.

Why is the landlord responsible initially for the cost of water and environmental services?

On multi-occupied sites, water cannot be metered to each unit by Yorkshire Water. The service is recharged based in the size of each unit.

What does the service charge cover?

The landlord is responsible for the external maintenance of the property, the maintaining, cleaning and gardening of the common parts.

What type/term of Agreements are available?

A 24 week licence or a lease of a term to be agreed can be taken. The agreements are prepared in house, thus reducing costs and time.

What security is provided?

The sites are covered by full CCTV. The gates to the sites are secured in the evening and the sites are monitored by a central station.

These units are not separately metered for electric or gas.

A service charged is raised per square meter, this charge includes all electric, heating, water, refuse and cleaning & maintenance of communal areas and toilets.

Buildings Insurance is also charged on a square foot bias
